Welcome to the sisterhood of Powerful Women! My name is Jill Conway McDowell, Founder of Powerful Women USA.
What began as a radio show has evolved into Secrets of Powerful Women—a FOLIO Award-winning podcast and go-to space for women leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. Each episode dives into real stories and strategies, spotlighting remarkable women who break barriers, shatter glass ceilings, and lift others as they rise.
I’m passionate about amplifying women’s voices, sparking ambition, and inspiring the next generation of leaders through powerful conversations with trailblazers across industries.
Before podcasting, I spent 20 years as a TV News Reporter and Anchor in New York, covering history-shaping events including 9/11, TWA Flight 800, East End Wildfires, Papal visits, the World Series, and the deaths of Princess Diana, JFK Jr., and Mother Teresa.
For the past decade, I’ve combined my media expertise with real estate, building a reputation as a trusted consultant and skilled negotiator—featured on Varney & Co. on Fox Business Channel.
